What is a sticky menu, and how does it affect your conversions?
If you ever visited an online store, you probably saw a box at the top of the webpage saying “free shipping for purchases above $100” or a similar message. You also probably noticed how that box stays in the same place no matter how much you scroll down. Because this box “sticks” to the viewport and its’ position on the webpage is fixed, we call it a sticky element. This is just one example of clever use of a sticky element to communicate important information.
Sticky elements usually contain a valuable message or remind visitors of opportunities they can’t miss.
